2:意义建构在图书馆学与资讯科学领域中所代表的是一个动态的概念及过程。其认为个人在尝试解决问题时会面临因为既有知识不足而产生的认知鸿沟(cognitive gap)当资讯需求要素被确立之后进而采取资讯寻求行为藉由主动收集所得之资讯配合问题情境中之各种变因为辅佐而判断资讯需求是否已经被满足的准则逐步由经验中建立对于问题情境的诠释并赋予其新的意义达到问题解决或决策思考之目的。由此可知意义建构所关切的主体在个人并认为意义建构是一个主观而非客观主动而非被动互动而非线性的历程。Dervin B.
